Your brain is not a marketing segment.

We collect as little as we can. AuDHD Stuff is a public directory, not a membership service. Reader accounts only keep private saved resources.

Services we use

Vercel hosts this site and may process normal web-request data to deliver it. Google Analytics collects standard page-view and browser/device information to help us understand broad site use; our setup removes search phrases and query strings from the page URLs it sends and does not use Google signals or ad personalization. Supabase stores the editorial directory, anonymous aggregate search trends, suggestions people choose to send, and update signups. If you explicitly select “Get a quick thought” after searching, we send the search phrase and matching result count to OpenAI to create one short response. We do not send your name, email, or saved resources to OpenAI with that request. Amazon handles its own data when you follow an Amazon Associates link from a product listing.

What we keep

For search-trend research, we keep only anonymous daily counts by broad topic category and result-count range. We do not retain original search phrases, IP addresses, account information, or saved resources in those trends. Suggestions may include the public link and optional “who it's for” note you submit, and stay in the editorial queue until reviewed or removed. Update signups include your email address, signup date, and the page where you subscribed. We use those only to send occasional AuDHD Stuff updates. We review aggregated trend data annually.

Why we process it

We use this limited information to run the directory, review suggestions, prevent abuse, send the occasional updates you asked for, and understand broad gaps in the catalog. The quick thought only runs after you ask for it, and it is not medical advice or a recommendation engine. Searches that may indicate self-harm or suicide are never sent to OpenAI, cached, or included in trend data.
