A place for the stuff that actually helps.
AuDHD Stuff didn't start because the internet needed another list of “10 things that will change your ADHD life.”
It started because finding genuinely useful information when you're neurodivergent can be exhausting.
I'm Michael. I'm neurodivergent, a dad with a neurodivergent family, and the person behind AuDHD Stuff.

Like a lot of people in this community, I've spent plenty of time trying to understand a brain that doesn't always cooperate with the way the rest of the world expects it to. Along the way, I've found things that helped. I've found things that sounded great but didn't. I've gone down rabbit holes, tried different tools and strategies, learned from other neurodivergent people, and had plenty of moments where I thought:
Why is it so hard to find all of this in one place?
That's really where AuDHD Stuff came from.
Less searching. More finding.
There is an incredible amount of information about ADHD, autism, and AuDHD online. The problem isn't always finding something. It's figuring out what's actually useful, who it's useful for, and whether it's worth your money, time, or limited supply of executive function.
So I wanted to build the kind of resource I wished existed: one place to collect the books, apps, podcasts, products, strategies, communities, and other random bits ofstuff that can make neurodivergent life a little easier.
Not miracle cures.
Not “just try harder.”
Not another planner promising to turn you into an entirely different person by Tuesday.
Just useful stuff, with enough context to help you decide whether it might be useful for you.
The living room and the shelf.
I also run the Facebook community AuDHD Chaos & Order.
I think of the group as the living room. It's where people talk, ask questions, share experiences, laugh about the chaos, celebrate wins, and remind each other that we're not the only ones figuring this out as we go.
AuDHD Stuff is the shelf.
It's where we can take all those “this helped me” discoveries and give them a permanent home, so useful information doesn't disappear into an old post or require the same conversation to start from scratch every few weeks.
And hopefully, over time, that shelf becomes something built not just by me, but with the help of the community around it.
Built from lived experience. Honest about what that means.
I'm not here to diagnose anyone, and AuDHD Stuff isn't a substitute for medical care, therapy, or professional advice.
Lived experience matters. Professional expertise matters. Research matters.
They're also not the same thing, and this site won't pretend they are.
Every published resource gets a human review that looks at what it is, who it may help, what it probably won't help with, what it costs, and how much time or energy it realistically takes to use.
Because something can technically be a great resource and still be completely unrealistic when your executive function has left the building.
Recommendations shouldn't be bought.
AuDHD Stuff isn't The AuDHD Store, and the goal isn't to turn every struggle into something you need to purchase.
Some links on the site are affiliate links, including Amazon Associates links. If you purchase something through one of those links, AuDHD Stuff may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
But money doesn't buy a recommendation, a better review, or a higher spot on the shelf.
If something isn't useful, I don't want to recommend it.
It's really that simple.
Help build the shelf.
My experience is only one neurodivergent experience.
That's why I want AuDHD Stuff to grow with the people who use it.
If you've discovered an app that finally helped you remember things, a book that made you feel understood, a sensory product you can't live without, a podcast that changed how you see yourself, or some weird little $8 thing that makes one annoying part of your day noticeably easier, I genuinely want to hear about it.
And if you see something on the site that's outdated, inaccurate, misleading, or just plain wrong, tell me that too.
The goal isn't to build the biggest collection of neurodivergent resources on the internet.
It's to build one of the most useful.
A place where ADHD, Autistic, and AuDHD people AND the people who love them can spend a little less time searching…
and a little more time finding the stuff that actually helps!
